I am student at UNC - Wilmington working towards degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration - Finance. I love solving puzzles and experiencing the "aha" moment. Programming logic makes a lot of sense to me, especially when I am using financial data which I can fully understand from trading and my education. I am also a surfer and I spend most of my free time in the ocean.
I am a senior at UNC - Wilmington working towards B.S.'s in Computer Science and Business Administration - Finance. I have developed skills in Python, Java, Financial Data Analysis, Perl, and Web Development by working on personal, work, and school projects. I started my college career as a finance major, but after taking an introductory computer science class I was immediately hooked. I have taken my education in both fields and focused on projects which allow me to gain experience in both, including an automated trading system to trade based off of certain financial indicators. I am passionate about both finance and computer science and I plan on working in the FinTech industry after graduating May 2019.
